Reverend Billy’s busy week: Prophesizes mining disaster, gets arrested, welcomes child into world

Actress Daryl Hannah, Dr. James Hansen and others arrested protesting mountain top removal in WV

Yesterday, Tuesday, June 23rd, a civil disobedience took place in West Virginia to protest mountain top removal. Those arrested included: Daryl Hannah, Ken Hechler, Dr. James Hansen, Michael Brune and Judy Bonds. A halt to mountaintop removal is part of the platform of the state green party in West Virginia. And, an announcement of the civil disobedience had been made on a prominent, national green activist list.

West Virginia Ballot Access Bill Advances
