Redpath Manages Successful LP Illinois Ballot Access Drive

On July 11th the LP IL submitted approximately 36,600 signatures to the state in an effort to achieve ballot access for the party’s seven candidates this November.  25,000 valid signatures were required.  The deadline for challenging the petitions passed yesterday seemingly assuring the party’s full slate of state-wide candidates will be on the ballot this fall – with one possible exception.… Read more ...

MCAFEE LINGERS IN SPANISH MORGUE: The body of flamboyantly controversial tech entrepreneur John McAfee, who unsuccessfully sought the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination in 2016 and 2020, remains in a Spanish morgue seven months after his suicide.

McAfee was in Spanish custody, awaiting extradition to the United States to face numerous fraud and money laundering charges related to a cryptocurrency “pump-and-dump” scam that he had fronted.… Read more ...

Illinois Greens Endorse Chicago Teachers Union in Fight Over Distance Learning

The Illinois Green Party has released a statement stressing that the party “wholeheartedly supports the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) in its struggle with the Chicago Public Schools over in-person learning and school safety.”
