During an appearance on CNN’s The Situation Room, Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer, a Democrat, said Montana is “one of the only states in the country Ron Paul will be on the ballot as the Constitution candidate,” and “if you travel across Western Montana, you’ll actually see more Ron Paul signs than you do John McCain. … If you include Paul in the polling, he gets somewhere between five and eight percent. And then Obama and McCain are tied around five.” Schweitzer said, “Ron Paul is going to be the decider here.”

I hate to be all news editor-ish here (news editor @ The Ellis County Press) since it’s a blog, but could you folks at least be somewhat consistent and make it 8 percent, 4 percent in stories, and stick to AP Style headline writing of 4%, 8%, etc.?
I realize this is a blog, but a few style changes would make this on par with consistency.
Meanwhile, in reality….
Because of the economic crisis the party currently in power the Republicans will not do very well in November thus McCain is going to lose in November by a landslide. All of McCain voters should support Ron Paul in Louisiana and Montana this will prevent the state from going to Obama. Then maybe with the election of Ron Paul Congressmen Obama and McCain will have to broker a deal where Ron Paul becomes president.

I live in Western Montana and it is true that there are far more Ron Paul signs than McCain and Obama (and Hillary) signs put together. I’m torn between voting for Barr and Paul, though. Ron Paul did not want to be on the ballot here and I do not really want to vote for a Constitution Party candidate (even though the Montana CP is not affiliated with the National CP).
I know it’s the impossible dream but I’d love to have a situation where neither McCrazy or Obamanation would have enough electoral votes to win and have Paul carry Montana. It would be fun to see what would happen.
Good for you!
I can’t in good conscience vote for either Obama or McCain.
Even if it’s a wasted vote it’s Ron Paul for me.
