I didn’t buy Mike Gravel as a Libertarian. The same thing with Bob Barr. Unfortunately one of them ended up with the Presidential nomination.

Not every question is an accusation, Susan.

Mike Gravel plays a pivotal role in the Academy Award nominated documentary on Daniel Ellsberg. Check it out at http://mostdangerousman.org
Mike trumps McGovern and Fullbright that didn’t have the courage to stand up for The People against the war machine and the Nixon administration. Please blog and comment on the docu if you want to help end the current immoral, bankrupting wars.

Ross, the rephrasing is the one I would have chosen.

Not everything is a conspiracy, Lee.

    Gravel is the man.
This country need more seasoned politico badasses like him, Ron Paul, and Ralph Nader who speak truth to power, the media consequences be damned.

I’ll change it. When I was writing it I wasn’t sure how to phrase it.

Ms. Hogarth is quite correct on this one. It is the first thing that struck me when I read the lead-in. It is false and misleading.

    Purposely so?

Yeah, that’s incorrect, and an illegal statement under Indiana law… But it’s cool. 🙂

“Libertarian presidential candidate” – I’m not sure that’s a correct characterization of a candidate for the nomination. Any journalist-type editors around who know if that’s correct?
