Chris Coughlin of the Georgia Libertarian Party won one of his two runoff elections yesterday, getting elected to an abbreviated term on the Johns Creek City Council.
Mr. Coughlin obtained over 59% of the vote, easily defeating his opponent.
He also received 47.4% in the election for the full term, falling short by only 162 votes.
The abbreviated term lasts until the end of December.

Winning is good, even if it isn’t for long.
Thanks, Richard.
His opponent for the special election was a different individual than his opponent for the regular term.
It sure seems odd he would win the abbreviated term but not the regular term. Any explanations?
