J Clifford writes at Irregular Times:
We do not yet know whether 2012 presidential nominee Jill Stein will run for President again in 2016. One other candidate has announced a Green Party presidential campaign, however. Her name is Midge Potts.
Who is Midge Potts?
As her primary campaign image shows, Midge Potts still identifies herself largely in terms of opposition to George W. Bush. Potts has engaged in a long string of actions of civil disobedience, many of them during Bush’s final term in office.
Here at Irregular Times, we spent a lot of time protesting against the policies of George W. Bush. There was a lot George W. Bush did for us to protest against.
One aspect of the anti-Bush protests that we never joined in with, though, was the 9-11 Truth Movement. 9-11 truthers claimed that the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were an “inside job” that was planned and executed by the Bush Administration. The claims by the Truth Movement were never well supported by actual evidence, and became more outlandish as time went forward.
Midge Potts has long been involved with the 9-11 Truth Movement, and she continues to be now, years since George W. Bush left office. Midge Potts’s most recent presidential campaign update reads, “ALWAYS REMEMBER September 11, 2001. The 43rd President of the United States allowed airplanes to hit the world trade center buildings so some friends of his could make a lot of money, and even more friends of his could make even more money going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Al Qaeda and The Taliban are U.S. funded CIA operations. The Bin Ladens and Bushes are lifelong family friends. All of the WTC buildings collapsed from controlled demolitions. The plane in Pennsylvania was shot down as part of the charade. NO PLANE HIT THE PENTAGON.”
The long association between the Green Party and crazy 9-11 Truth conspiracy theories has been one of the most significant obstacles to the growth of the party. Though many of her protests have been appropriately focused, the 2016 antics of Midge Potts will do nothing but decrease the chances of the Green Party of making a significant impact on American politics.
Will a more serious and stable Green Party politician step forward for 2016?

I don’t think Potts will be the nominee, regardless of whether Stein runs again or not.
She’s not fighting the last war, she’s fighting the war before the war before the last war.
Bold strategy.
Thanks, I hadn’t seen it. Done.
White doofus needs deleting.
