2014 Constitution Party Candidates (So Far)

The Constitution Party posted this very preliminary list of candidates for 2014 on its Facebook page:

James R. Fariello, Adams County Sheriff, American Constitution Party, Colorado.
Joshua Screws, HD 31, Constitution Party of Alabama
Derrick Douglas, HD 91, Constitution Party of Alabama
Jennifer Young, Secretary of State, Wyoming Constitution Party
David Lory Vanderbeek, Governor, Nevada Independent American Party
Dean Barton, Constitution Party of Minnesota
Tim Utz, Constitution Party of Minnesota
Phil Hudok, United States Senate, Constitution Party of West Virginia
Lori Stacey, US House, Constitution Party of South Dakota
Curtis Strong, Governor of South Dakota, Constitution Party of South Dakota
J.R. Myers, Governor of Alaska, Constitution Party of Alaska

The list is noteworthy because it lists the Nevada Independent American Party, and not the Constitution Party of Nevada that was recognized last month by the State of Nevada.

The Constitution Party of Nevada was only recognized by the state as a group that is trying to get ballot access. They don’t have it and have no realistic means to achieve it.

The IAP is the strongest CP state affiliate in the country and they would be foolish to side with the breakaway group that does not have and is not going to get ballot access.

Agreed, but it’s like pulling teeth trying to find Constitution Party news compared to Libertarian Party & Green Party, so whenever I find something remotely interesting I get a bit giddy.

Cody, tweet it to @JedZiggler or email jedziggler@gmail.com. No guarantees, but if I don’t use it I’ll try to let you know why not.

Paulie, I thought someone already did a write-up on that? I’ll check & if not I’ll post it unless someone gets to it first.

It’s not in recent Constitution Party stories on IPR, so unless it got misplaced in another category it did not get posted here yet.
