Libertarian Party of Alabama announces candidate search for Alabama House Districts 74 and 104 special elections

Call for candidates

The Libertarian Party of Alabama is announcing candidate searches and ballot access petitioning for the upcoming special elections for Alabama House of Representatives District 74 in Montgomery, which was vacated by Rep. Jay Love (R) and Alabama House of Representatives District 104 in Mobile, which was vacated by Rep. Jim Barton (R).

All third-party candidates, independent candidates, and/or minor party candidates seeking ballot access have a deadline of Oct. 8, 2013 at 5 p.m. to file the appropriate notification, petitions, or supporting paperwork with the Secretary of State.

    Any news on the sig numbers needed in each race. Would be some good pub to get two articulate REAL libertarians in these races. The deep south needs to hear the SANE message of true LIBERTY.
