The improvements are noticeable. I have a very fast network connection (50Mb/10Mb), so IPR is usually “ok”, but it just loaded quite a bit faster than expected.
Looks like an old cached version of the site was being served to some users. I’ve wiped out the local copy of the cache, so please reload and hopefully you will see the latest content.
Displaying the Nov. 2012 archives also showed the latest posts. Please let me know of any further issues.
We’ll be able to speed it up a little more once we get the application caching straightened out. I haven’t speedtested the server yet, buth PHP caching is working well.

My brother Steve added some php caching and the site seems pretty fast now. What does everyone think?

I wonder if we could try more articles on the front page again and see if it doesn’t slow it down too much?
