In the above video Liberty Underground radio hosts Alex Snitker and Adrian Wyllie talk to 7-Eleven spokeswoman Margaret Chabris about why the convenience store chain is promoting Mitt Romney and Barack Obama with their 7-Election coffee cup promotion.
Chabris says there is a green cup for those not supporting Obama or Romney, but in reporting the results of the “poll” she only reports the Obama and Romney results. She says the company has received only a few calls about this at their number 800-255-0711.
Snitker and Wyllie point out that 7-Eleven is not allowing them to put out advertisements for Gary Johnson and that this may be an FEC violation since 7-Eleven is advertising two competing candidates with its “7-Election” promotion.
Chabris says that their lawyers have said it is not a problem.
When asked what 7-Eleven would do if they got 10,000 calls to include Gary Johnson, Chabris says she can’t respond to hypotheticals. She says over and over how this promotion is “fun” and that they will consider tallying the “other” cup “votes” in 2016.

Yes, it would have been better to make fun of her before she got off the air.
Well, at least they have a “green” cup. You can pretend it’s for Jill Stein. That is, if they actually have one. Maybe they keep it in the back and you have to ask for it?
I want a Jill Stein, Green Party Coffee Cup.
I just filed a complaint. We should all give up slurpees till after the election to protest.
@4 — I think that’s pretty much how radio works.
Green? Why not yellow?
I kid, I kid.
