California AIP Nominates Dr. Robert Ornelas for Vice President

August 12th, 2012 · written by · 24 Comments

Below is a Facebook post from Tom Hoefling, the CA AIP Presidential nominee.

FYI…

It should be noted that while my friend J.D. Ellis of Tennessee was nominated for Vice-President by America’s Party in February, and will be running with me in all the states except California, the AIP in California chose to nominate someone else for that role.

His name is Dr. Robert Ornelas of Anaheim, CA.

I’m still getting to know him myself, so I haven’t made any public comments as yet, until this post.

But my brief conversations with Mr. Ornelas so far leave me deeply impressed with his principles and character.

And it appears that he may well be able to provide the opening into the Los Angeles area that we must have to really take it to Obama.

They are shaking in their boots at the White House Situation Room.

#3- Seriously. What a pack of a** clowns. Maybe they think this can get Mel Gibson’s vote.

I think these idiots should join Ogle’s fantasy parliament circle jerk.

Dr. Robert Ornelas was Rev. Wiley Drake’s choice for vice-president, if the convention had nominated Rev. Drake for president. Rev. Drake asked for the presidential nomination but did not receive it. But the convention gave Rev. Drake a consolation prize, of sorts, by picking Dr. Ornelas for vice-president. Dr. Ornelas lives in Anaheim, Orange County, California, and works with SOG Ministries (Sons of God) to develop Hip Hop oriented evangelistic literature.

They wanted a Hoe Fling. Perhaps Concerned Chuck and Hetro Harry were right.

Hoefling-Ornelas: another tiny asterisk in political history. Their grandkids can giggle about it.

Richard, do you know if there will be any “certified write-in candidates” on the California ballot this year?

And will Ron Paul be a certified write-in candidate in CA, as he was in 2008?

  • 11 Richard Winger // Aug 13, 2012 at 11:32 am

#10, yes, but the deadline lies in the future so we can’t know who will file.

The new issue of GLOBE has a picture inside of Roseanne reading a previous issue of GLOBE. The magazine she’s reading has a big cover story about aka Obama’s identity fraud scams involving stolen Social Security numbers.

Has Roseanne contacted WAR to compare notes on Resident Barry’s identity fraud scams?

Barr & Root working together, that seems unbeatable!

I hope the Ron Paul people don’t file write-ins and such all over the country. Write-ins are unreliable and this year, unlike in 2008, the Libertarian is quite good. Vote Johnson.

It looks like the CA AIP might have managed to alienate Noonan and Drake, both of whom wanted the nomination.

Anyone know if they still plan to stay active after this slight.

  • 17 Ad Hoc // Aug 13, 2012 at 1:09 pm

Trent you are correct as far as libertarians go.

But as far as anyone for whom abortion, immigration or gay marriage are deal breaker issues, they should work to get Goode on as a registered write in as soon as possible.

Mark and Markham have certainly alienated themselves for good now.

The Nevada IAP will have nothing to do with them or the AIP until they are gone from the leadership of the AIP, completely.

Bill Shearer’s dream is very much dead now :’(

Perhaps a state affiliate of the Independent American Party should try to qualify in CA.

  • 21 NewFederalist // Aug 14, 2012 at 8:07 am

So you liked that? I thought of that all by myself!

  • 22 paulie // Aug 14, 2012 at 8:16 am

Yep, great idea. Richard never responded as to whether there’s any Kalifornia regulation against it though.

Perhaps a state affiliate of the Independent American Party should try to qualify in CA.

= As I stated in the other blog, there is a state law that addresses that.

Basically its a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation in California right now >:(

Wiley Drake Sr. voted for the ticket of Hoefling and Ornelas at the AIP Convention. Wiley Drake
was elected Chairman of the AIP for the term of
    2012 t0 2014.

    Cody Quirk

Why do you say the Nevada Independent American Party will have noting to do with
Seidenberg (Chairman 2011 to 2012) and
Robinson (Secretary 2010 to 2014) of the
AIP? This is news to me!

    Paulie

Answer to you post # 22,

It would be a violation of several sections of the
    Kalifornia (sic.) Elections Code.
Independent American Party is to close of a name to the American Independent Party of
    California.

Paulie, spoke with activist in New York about
the formation of a new party there that would
    affliate with the AMERICAN INDEPENDENT
PARTY OF THESE UNITED STATES. The
plan is to open offices near Rome, New York.
Since the last affliate with AIP was the COURAGE PARTY, do you think we should
keep that name or go with a new name. I am thinking of the NESHER {Hebrew for eagle} PARTY as a name. Do you have any other ideas
for a party name. Others have been suggestion is
    the PERSONHOOD PARTY.

Siincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Chairman, Ameican Independendent Party of California
