Roseanne Barr Speaks on Ten Key Values of Green Party

March 28th, 2012 · written by · 9 Comments

Roseanne Barr has begun an active campaign for the Presidency of the United States while attempting to obtain the nomination of the Green Party of the United States. Her campaign has been in the building stages for several weeks now, but she seems to finally be actively campaigning by attending events, publishing writings, and making videos. Barr recently made this video in which she explicates the Ten Key Values of the Green Party.

I really hope Dr. Jill Stein’s campaign gets the nod for the Green party. They need a serious candidate with a serious message, not another reality show about nothingness.

I want to give everyone a chance, but Roseanne?

Vote Stein and get things moving.

head and shoulders above her flimsy state efforts a couple of years ago ………………..

Given her profession I didn’t think the video was all that great. It did, however, beat the hell out of her infamous rendition of the national anthem some years back before a San Diego Padres game.

I absolutely agree that Dr. Stein represents a much better candidate. While lacking the name recognition in the mainstream that Barr has, Stein does not bring up the baggage and negative connotations that Barr has for many in the mainstream. Barr often comes off as abrasive in interviews where as Stein comes off as warm and articulate to me. To me the GP will come off much more serious if they put up Stein rather than just go for whatever celebrity name is available. Perhaps Barr as VP might gain some attention to the campaign – but to me Kent Mesplay would be a better candidate for Veep.

Roseanne Barr appears at Occupy Wall Street protest.=-http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=ZyoRcEF6ox8

She’s calling for much more socialism in this one, some of you will enjoy it more.

As an outsider looking in, I think the GP should take advantage of Roseanne’s name ID. I mean who will receive more media, hence more votes in Nov.? Roseanne without a doubt ! She isn’t a polished candidate but she will get better each week and should be very good by this fall !!!

I saw Jill Stein speak recently in New York and she’s polishing her stump speech and “tag lines” quite nicely. But of course there is that whole “upper middle class white professional” thing versus Roseanne’s persona as a rough and tumble working class type (I know that’s just the act she plays for tv audiences but…).

Could someone clue me in as to which of the ten values encompasses vigilantism?

I am going to presume that none of them do.
