EX-MADAM BLASTS VANCE RECORD ON WOMEN
Cites DSK Dismissal and Marvel Scott Plea Bargain
MANHATTAN – Former Madam Kristin Davis who went to prison for providing call girls to former Governor Eliot Spitzer and now heads a non-profit organization, HOPE HO– USE, that combats sex trafficking, today slammed Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance for dismissing the charges against DSK and letting former Channel 7 Sportscaster Marvel Scott rape a 14 year old girl and plead guilty only to a reduced misdemeanor charge of “endangering the welfare of a child” avoiding any jail time.
“District Attorney Vance’s record when it comes to women is a disgrace” said Davis. “Inside Vance’s Manhattan, rich white men and celebrities walk while women, poor people, blacks and latinos are prosecuted for non-violent drug offenses in numbers disproportionate to their representation and the population.”
Vance moved to drop charges against Domenique Strauss Kahn on the basis of lack of supposed lack credibility of the victim, Diallo.
“Doesn’t Diallo have the right to have her case heard in front of jury? Shouldn’t we let a jury decide if she is credible and if she was raped?” asked Davis. “DSK has admitted to a sexual encounter but says it was consensual. Why can’t we put him on the stand to let a jury decide if it was consensual?”
“Thanks to DA Cyrus Vance, Jr., Marvell Scott solicited a pimp for a girl he knew was a minor, raped her and avoided any real penalty,” said Davis, a Feminist who ran for Governor as a protest candidate last year. “This is a felony. This is a miscarriage of justice.”
According to court papers, Scott paid a pimp to have sex with a 14-year old runaway. When she refused to have sex with him, her 16-year old friend, also a runaway, was in the apartment with them and convinced her to have sex with Scott. Surveillance video from Scott’s apartment confirms the entire account.
“This man knowingly bought a child prostitute.” said Davis. “I did 4 months in Riker’s Island even though all of my dealings in the sex industry involved consenting adults and I never had any connection to drugs or drug use.”
Since a Judge ended her Probation Davis founded HOPE HO– USE, a non-profit organization that reports on and combats Sex Trafficking through the use of decoys teams looking for conscripted and under-age prostitutes.
“First Cyrus Vance fails to recognize that the DSK maid Nafissatou Diallo was brutally attacked. Now, he is giving the customer of a 14-year-old being forcibly pimped out, a walk,” Davis said.
“All women in New York should be outraged,” said Davis. “We have a DA who is watching as men commit violent crimes against women and children and not standing up for them.”

NOT SO FAST, MR. VANCE
I was first introduced to Dominique Strauss Kahn, by Irma Nici, a stunning International Call girl who knew him from Paris and counted her in her stable of politicians, diplomats, entertainers and sports figures on her client list. He was brusque, businesslike and grunted more then he spoke. He wanted “fresh faced younger American girls” for his two sessions. He paid a rate of $1,400 an hour for his time with these women. Ms Nici had warned me prior to referring him that he was a bit aggressive and to send him girls who could handle this behavior – and I let both girls know this prior to booking him.
In his first session, the woman stated that he was semi rough but it was not a problem, she could handle it. The second woman complained after their appointment about DSK’s abusive and brutish behavior and excess roughness. She said he “tore at her flesh” and left a few bruises the size of thumbprints on her arms. She said it started out as role play but DSK took it to another level. I knew then he had the proclivities of a sexual deviant and would never be allowed an appointment with the girls that worked for me again.
THE CASE
From first glance – this case seems simple: a maid interrupts a hotel guest during the shower and he sexually assaults her. The maid files a police report and the hotel guest is arrested and bail is set.
The problem with this case is that the hotel guest is no common hotel guest. He is Dominique Strauss Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund, which oversees global monetary issues for 187 countries. He was also on the short list to be President of France.
I don’t know why the concept of politicians behaving badly surprises us. We have seen one President (Bill Clinton) cheat and deny it until faced with legal charges then accept his apology on the premise that oral sex isn’t really sex because penetration isn’t involved.
We here in New York, were governed by a man (Eliot Spitzer) who changed the laws to increase the penalties for men getting caught with prostitutes then he himself was caught with a prostitute and served no jail time. We have seen senators and presidential hopefuls get caught with 2nd families and hookers – some of these men even commit crimes to cover up their moral lapses yet is still shocks us when our politicians are mere mortals that make mistakes and then try to cover them up.
In this case, the trial started the moment the maid reported the crime. I’m quite sure her attorneys advised her to stay silent and let the prosecution do their job. That is normal and justified- she is the victim and just had a sexual crime committed against her and is recovering.
Unfortunately when the media becomes involved and they know you are not going to talk or cannot talk- they will write whatever they choose to based on what will sell newspapers or get online readers. That is their job.
I know this firsthand. When I was convicted of promoting prostitution for running a multi-million dollar escort service that included Eliot Spitzer as a client, the media wrote about me every day for 4 months while I sat in solitary in Riker’s Island. I didn’t talk to anyone nor did I want too. When I got out of jail, I tried to go back into finance, my area of experience prior to becoming a Madam and was unemployable because of the thousands of google links. It’s a stigma I didn’t ask for. It’s a stigma Eliot Spitzer doesn’t share. It’s a stigma the men never share. This is the same media that has called me a “publicity whore” yet they were the ones that put me on the cover of the newspapers without my permission.
THE PROSECUTION
Within ONE day of the crime, the NY Times reported that “the maid, Nafissatou Diallo, called a friend who was in jail for allegedly possessing 400 pounds of marijuana to discuss how she could benefit from the tryst”. The NY Post simultaneously reported that the maid told “numerous lies,” and is “personally connected” to drug dealers and money launderers, the source said. Both publications were in a bid to outdo each other and get the best story, which meant finding “sources” to make the maid look bad.
Where are these sources? Why don’t they come forward with their names? If they are telling the truth, then why not? Doesn’t the VICTIM here have the right to confront those who are defaming her name and credibility?
Or did we forget that there is a victim and that a sexual assault was perpetrated against a woman?
For the record, anyone who has ever been in jail or has a “friend” in jail knows that you cannot make incoming calls to a person who is locked up. The phone system in jail is difficult and its hard enough to make outgoing calls- there is no such thing as incoming calls. I can only imagine the Correctional Officers at Rikers- excuse, Ms. Davis, you have a phone call. There is NO way the maid could have called a friend in jail like the times reported.
Their have been additional issues raised in terms of the Diallo’s credibility. She may have confused the order of the events around the assault, she may have been less than truthful on her asylum application but mostly likely lied on the advice of a bureaucrat telling her what to write to get approved and while she may have had a talk with a drug dealer which was taped yet we have yet to hear the recording.
None of these things have anything to do with the maid being assaulted. None of these things mean that she wasn’t forced to perform a sexual act with a sexual deviant. These issues are completely irrelevant except to prosecute the victim and make the real prosecutions job difficult.
In fact, I think its safe to assume that a majority of people seeking asylum would do just about anything to actually get it granted. And confusing the order of events around an assault is common. SHE WAS ASSAULTED. Most likely she was trying to figure a way out of the situation and her mind wasn’t focused on remembering every last detail because we would put her credibility on trial.
The DA’s office has been under pressure because of the constant barrage of issues not related to the actual prosecution of a sexual predator. Its time the DA’s office starts taking the offensive and plays the game the way the game has to be played.
THE DEFENSE
DSK’s defense attorneys have already admitted that a consensual sexual encounter occurred. Why aren’t the papers asking for more details? Where are the “sources” DSK may have spoken too? Lets hear exactly what happened from DSK’s perspective. If the maid is subject to scrutiny based on her accounting of the facts then we should hear DSK’s version of the story.
The defense would have you believe that the maid knew who DSK was, her intent was to fabricate a story then profit from it financially. Let’s use common sense here. Diallo is a maid from a 3rd world country. I highly doubt she googles each hotel guest before cleaning their room. I also doubt that the hotel gives a roster of each guest’s names to the maid since it’s not pertinent to cleaning of their accommodations.
The defense has already admitted to a sexual encounter- why is it difficult to believe that it was one that was forced?
DSK has a long history of abuse towards women. I have to talked to the media about his attacks on the women who worked for me, He is famed for his multiple relationships and encounters. Two additional women have come forward publicly to confront him and one is pressing additional assault charges. They are not just “sources” – they are real legitimate women who are seeking justice such as Tristan Banon and Piroska Nagy.
Rape is a violent crime that is about a display of power and a desire to make that power manifest to self. DSK’s main level of defense plays on our inability to accept what he has done. I can answer and expand upon some of the questions you might have….such as why would DSK do such a thing?
Why not?
He is a man in power, used to getting his way, probably never being told no. It doesn’t matter that he is married or capable of getting more attractive women. It is fantasy and a power play. An attractive maid walks into a hotel room where the guest is in the shower, half naked and surprises him. What guy hasn’t had this fantasy, except DSK used power and force to act upon it when he was told no. He is not unlike Eliot Spitzer- they want what they want, the way they want it. It’s a power play.
Cyrus Vance,Jr., the Manhattan DA should bring this case to trial and let the people decide – not the media.
