Excerpt from J Clifford at Irregular Times:
What we need is a strong liberal alternative to the Republicans and Democrats, in electoral politics. In order to get to electoral success, of course, a voice is what every candidate starts with. Democrats and Republicans have corporate-sponsored megaphones for their voices. A Green Party presidential candidate won’t.
So, what the Green Party lacks in money, it must make up for in creativity and energy. The one Green Party presidential candidate who has already begun to campaign is showing neither creativity nor energy, however.
Kent Mesplay has a presidential campaign web site. That seems to be about all that’s happened in his campaign in the months since it began. That web site is barely alive. It’s been over 2 weeks since Mesplay posted a statement about any political issue at all.
On almost every important political issue Kent Mesplay has had nothing to say.
It doesn’t take big corporate money to write, to make campaign videos, to orchestrate campaign events. It takes enthusiasm, and consideration, and the charisma necessary to attract volunteers to do some of the work.
Kent Mesplay doesn’t have what it takes to run a campaign that can make a difference. The Green Party would do better if Jill Stein would enter the race.

There is no energy in the Green Party. Go back to sleep Greens.
Because all the energy, courage and vitality of the Greens left, when the Nader supporters were IMHO deliberately silences, smeared and denigrated. Not to forget disenfranchised. In what we can call a very direst violation of the Green Party stated Pillar of Grassroots Democracy.
As an aside Kent Mesplay was present during this, as a National Delegate. Yet instead of defending the rights of Nader supporters and their allies, he did nothing. It was OK for some. But obviously not myself or others.
An Injury To One Is An Injury To All
However, there is really big news coming on this front.
Stand by. When I get specific details and confirmation I will pass them on.
Here is a hint.
Rocky Balboa ain’t got nothin’ on this boy.

Perhaps the big news is that Michael Kavlan will realize his Open progressive movement is no more likely to succeed than the Green Party, and he will join up with the Catholic Trotskyist Obama revolution. And he will realize the criminal conspiracy nature of Ralph Nader’s association with Bush crime family machinations. Kent Mesplay, David Cobb and Pat LaMarche privately realized this, and this is why they made the tough decision to kill the Green Party.

CT may be off his meds but damn, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Although in fairness, I would not say that Kent Mesplay deliberately worked to kill the Green Party. At least on the national level.
He just stood by and said nothing while it happened.
Jill Stein on the other hands seems to be on the up and up.
Paging Doctor Stein. Paging Doctor Stein.
CT is in the halls babbling again. Oh OK. Verbal order
5 mg Haldol IM STAT
Thank you Doctor

“CT may be off his meds…”
He’s just having fun. CT, would I be correct in saying that “Barack is the Way, the Truth, and the Light” and that “He who believes in Barack, though he may die, he shall live.”?

“Because all the energy, courage and vitality of the Greens left, when the Nader supporters were IMHO deliberately silences, smeared and denigrated.”
Sure, that explains why Jill Stein and her allies have revitalized the Green Rainbow Party of Massachusetts. Sure, that explains why Howie Hawkins and the Green Party of New York won back their ballot line for the first time since 2002. Sure, that explains why I collected 500 signatures to get McKinney on the ballot in one of the states most heavily targeted by the Obama campaign.
The really extreme, off-the-rails Naderites like John Murphy and Liz Arnone were the ones who were smearing other Greens. You ran with that crowd and joined in the attacks. The Destructo Greens really did a number on the Green Party before they left.

Yeah
What evah
Man Audrey. You and Pat LaMarche are some of the meanest, vindictive and mean spirited people that I ever met. You have no idea just how many former Greens that I meet on a regular basis. Some of the most honest, decent and kind individuals that I have ever known.
So please. Carry on with the Green Party.
Really.

Oh yes and courageous. That has been the most stirling character that I have seen with Nader folks.
They accepted me, a McKinney fan. As a friend and an ally.
So on to better things
Building and organizing an opposition to the pro-war, corporate corrupted two party system. Like we really mean it.

“Man Audrey. You and Pat LaMarche are some of the meanest, vindictive and mean spirited people that I ever met. ”
That’s pretty rich coming from someone who just smeared a great many hard-working and courageous Greens, including some who backed Nader in 2004, like Howie Hawkins and Tim McKee.
“Building and organizing an opposition to the pro-war, corporate corrupted two party system. Like we really mean it.”
That’s what the Greens are already doing!

Sigh
On top of which, you are a pathological liar.
I never smeared Howie, Tim McGee I have never even heard of.
Having said this. I am done. I am getting off of this roller coaster Audrey.
Good luck to you guys and all that.

Yes, you did:
“Because all the energy, courage and vitality of the Greens left, when the Nader supporters were IMHO deliberately silences, smeared and denigrated.”
If all of the energy, courage, and vitality of the Green Party left, then those who are remaining have none of those qualities. That’s a smear on all of the hard-working and courageous Greens who remain in the party, including Howie Hawkins. You really are a nasty piece of work.

[a] don’t bother ‘width’ the fakey dakey Independent Green Party of Virginia. They are so independent that they are invisible.
Call them [telephone, voice mail] and nothing. Write them, nothing. In fact, their postal address then disappears.
Serious folks wanting to contact them have to mail a SASE to the state government, via an elections office.
Give them light rail contacts. Lots of nothing.
[b] your take on Robert B. Morris, the (so called) constitutional historian?
[c] your lack of Dem Farty snipes on various ‘independent’ sites?

If VA Green is Audrey C, who I think it is, then she is with the GP-US section of the Green Party, not the fake, Independent Green Party of VA.
(There were a a lot of nasty people on all sides of the Cobb/Nader/No Candidate debate).

On a past IPR thread VAGreen denied being Audrey. You are correct that VAGreen is with the national Greens, not the IGPofV.
