In the Mike Gravel thread below, it was brought up that Mike Gravel has been associated with the 9/11 truth movement. I wasn’t aware of this so I Googled it and came upon this website. Apparently the nascent Truth Party has formed a committee to attempt to draft Mike Gravel to run on their ballot line.

Here’s an exciting update on the Truth Party. We have formed a Committee to Draft Senator Mike Gravel for President.
We have been in close touch with Senator Mike Gravel and his people. We would like him to become the first candidate for the nascent Truth Party’s first Presidential Nomination.
As many of you know, the former Senator from Alaska has been hard at work on a multiple state initiative to get a 9/11 Investigation on the ballot in state elections. We have all learned from our mistakes, and our defeats in previous efforts, and the struggle goes on.
I asked several people in the Truth Party, particularly in NYC, Chicago, and Boston, to write letters of encouragement to Senator Gravel. Thanks to Ian in NYC who helped edit a selection of excerpts, so that you can see the “Best Of” these letters.
Senator Gravel has sent word through his people that he will run, on our ballot line if we raise one million dollars. Do you think we can do it? I know that we CAN!
Roseanne Barr donated the MAX to Cynthia McKinney in ’08. Would think Roseanne could possibly get the Green nomination if given the opportunity. Would be interesting, just hope they don’t ask her to sing the national anthem !
There is a million dollars plus in the Truth Movement for the correct candidate. Seems a waste to me on Gravel however. Alex Jones would be the one to push. He has enough guts and is crazy enough to make a major ruckus as an alternative candidate.

Ogle is very involved in the campaign and Roseanne has been helping with the US Parliament project.
Speaking of long-shot rpesidential candaites, I see Roaseane Barr has been puting out some campaign like videos. I’m not sure what to think entirely, but she is great to listen to. But my question; is James Ogle a major player in that campaign? Somethings said abt parliaments and some other things got me wondering.
And compared to Gravel, Barr 2012 has 1000 + “fans” on Facebook.
Like I said before, what we really need is a SANE challenger for Obama from the left.

There is no date on the website, but I read Gravel’s statement below to mean he would challenge Obama in the primary, so I’m not sure how the Truth Party plays into that.
