Apparently the presidential/VP ticket is Lowell Fellure and Toby Davis. From what I can tell on Fellure’s website here http://swordof1611.webs.com/jackfellure2012.htm is that he is a sword-weilding Bible-thumper.

“Kind of odd to see Richard Winger and Steve Gordon as speakers at a Prohibition Party convention.”

I don’t know about Steve Gordon but the Prohibition Party was the first minor party that Richard became interested in many, many years ago. I know that because we share that in common based on a discussion we had back in the late 70’s or early 80’s. Probably more of a historical curiosity than anything else I would guess.

“This party is a little bit to the right of the Constitution Party. Do they even run any candidates besides the presidential race?”

Yes. They have an elected township official in PA. There are several websites so just put the party name in your search engine and check them all out. Very interesting and lots of history!

I’ll donate $20 to any charity of either mans choosing, if one or both pop open a beer during the convention!

    (snicker)

    Indeed.

@2 – Gene Amondson was the 2008 nominee and received 655 votes

On another note, does anyone else find it odd that the Prohibition Party convention is being held in a wet city in a dry county?
