@ Red Phillips: Truly these populist crypto-racists have split the duopoly atom and fissioned a progressive anti-immigrant detonation powering a third party truckasaurus that will sweep away the distinction between Left and Right in this country.
Deran, the Citizens Party appears to be populist on economic issues, environmentally sensitive, anti-immigration, and socially liberal. They are anti-immigration for environmental (“carrying capacity”) and economic reasons. To say that makes them “anti-Hispanic” is PC demagoguery.
Thanks for the clarifications abt this Citizens Party. I doubt anyone remembers Barry Commoner’s Citizens Party run anyway.
NAIP/New American Independent Party, lots of nothin’!
This is what used to be the NAIP/New American Independent Party, which predated Americans Elect.
Is this realated to America Elects? IGPV? Obviously a bit, er, nutters … Nader and Wooldrigdge and Trafficant and Warren and hundreds more. The anti-hispanic stuff seems the give away.
el racismo, con una cara humana?
I really should start a political party on the internet. It seems fun, and like it must make all things feel more important.
I assume this isn’t the 1980-1984 Citizens Party? Or related to the United Citizens Party in South Carolina? Their program/platform page isn’t functional.
Isi ti a real thing? It seems pretty, virtual, at this point? It’s not more US Parliament stuff is it?
I saw a draft Jim Trafficant group listed …
Same old, same old. How much Ballot Access ? Not enough!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom…crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” – Samuel Adams
“The spirit of the times may alter, will alter. Our rulers will become corrupt, our people careless. A single zealot may commence persecutor, and better men be his victims. It can never be too often repeated that the time for fixing every essential right on a legal basis is while our rulers are honest and ourselves united. From the conclusion of [their] war [for independence, a nation begins] going down hill. It will not then be necessary to resort every moment to the people for support. They will be forgotten, therefore, and their rights disregarded. They will forget themselves but in the sole faculty of making money, and will never think of uniting to effect a due respect for their rights. The shackles, therefore, which shall not be knocked off at the conclusion of [that] war will remain on [them] long, will be made heavier and heavier, till [their] rights shall revive or expire in a convulsion.” – Thomas Jefferson

I’d vote for Paul Craig Roberts, assuming he’s pro-life, in a minute.
