Richard Winger of Ballot Access News is reporting that at the Constitution Party of Montana’s state convention this weekend, they voted on, amongst other things, re-affiliating with the national party.
On May 14, the Montana Constitution Party held a state convention. It elected new officers and voted to rejoin the national organization of the Constitution Party. In 2008 the Montana Constitution Party had not been affiliated with the national Constitution Party, which is one reason the Montana Constitution Party in 2008 placed Ron Paul on the November ballot as its presidential nominee, instead of Chuck Baldwin.
This means only one state Constitution Party is still disaffiliated: Oregon. There are rumors, though, that a similar movement is afoot in Oregon towards affiliation. Montana is considered one of the most successful state parties in the Constitution Party because in 2006 they elected a state representative, Rick Jore.
Ron Paul never endorsed Baldwin. Paul merely said he would vote for Baldwin after Barr screwed up. Rick Jore was an elected Republican, so people did know him. Also one of the largest employers in Jore’s district was Jore corporation. That helped as well. Otherwise CP candidates don’t do that well.

Chelene and Chuck especially have put their parties on the spot with the publicity and endorsements they received during their races and also won a large amount of votes.
Chuck Baldwin, a dedicated and outspoken constitutional activist and ‘Man of God’ got nearly 200,000 votes and so far is the best vote getting CP Presidential candidate, when compared to Howard Phillips and Michael Peroutka. He certainly got more votes then that conservative affront called Alan Keyes, and placed third in Utah, and was also endorsed by Ron Paul.
Chelene is one of the best performing AIP Gubenatoral candidates ever, especially when compared to the pathetic performance of your hero, Ed Noonan, during his Gubernatorial run in 2006.
Chelene got endorsed by people like Joe Arpaio, and even Tom Tancredo, so not only have such people produced results, but they done more then little turds like you ever have.

Rick Jore had gotten elected as a Republican so Jore was well known. It also helps when you have a major manufacturing plant in the area called Jore corp that hires a lot of people.
