Tea Party Demands Halt To TSA Full Body Scans
(Orlando) The Tea Party (TEA) is demanding a halt to full body scans by the Transportation Security Agency (TSA). “The level of screening by TSA employees of American citizens has crossed the threshold of from security to a violation of rights,” stated Dunmire. “Constitutional rights must be maintained at all times, including traveling on our nation’s airlines,” Dunmire concluded.
Dunmire has also added the issue to the screening process for candidates that seek the TEA party nomination in 2012 and the TEA party is contemplating a grassroots effort to sway the incoming Congress to reform or abolish the agency.
The TEA party has announced plans to field a least 100 candidates in the 2012 general election, including a candidate for the United States Senate seat being held by Democrat Bill Nelson.
“Dunmire also added that Benjamin Franklin was right when he said, ‘ “Those who would give up Essential Liberty
to purchase a little Temporary Safety,
deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
The Tea Party is ballot qualified in Florida. Information on the party @ www.FloridaTEAParty.US
