September 18th, 2010 · 2 Comments

In contrast to the Arkansas Green Party’s high poll numbers in a few other statewide races, their candidate for governor Jim Lendall is at 2 percent support in a new poll:

In the governor’s race, results showed Beebe leading Keet, 54 percent to 33 percent, with 2 percent favoring Green Party candidate Jim Lendall and 11 percent undecided.

    Green Party of California,

    as asked in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s,
    why have these potential activists,
    celebrities, high liners not approached?

[Joan] Baez is a resident of Woodside, California, and lives with her mother in a house that has a backyard tree house in which she spends a good deal of time meditating, writing, and “being close to nature.”[47]

Baez’s son, percussionist Gabriel Harris, has been a member of her touring band in recent years.

Harris and his wife Pamela live with their daughter Jasmine, in close proximity to Baez’ home in Woodside. Baez’ cousin, Peter Baez, was a medical marijuana activist.[48]

Another cousin, John C. Baez, is a mathematical physicist.[49]
