I cannot see any possible gain and the losses are unfortunate and immense: We are losing valuable crude oil as a resource, we lost valuable ocean life and beach fronts, coastline commerce loses business, BP loses business & shares, Obama and our government loses reputation, exposes impotence & and wastes taxpayer money - all this in addition to seeing how high level the corruption of goes in the corporate side and the political side. Who if anyone could possibly gain from this? It's an environmental disaster of epic proportions that has amounted in nothing but lost resources and business for all. If anyone gains, it's likely the bankers, since regardless of crisis or situation there seems to be a way for them to make a buck at everyone's expense. GB,
