Tom Horner, the Independence Party of Minnesota endorsed candidate, still has to face a primary against several other Independence Party gubernatorial candidates in a primary. He announced his running mate on the last day of filing.
Independence Party candidate for governor Tom Horner marked the final day of Minnesota’s candidate filing period by announcing he has picked former Association of Minnesota Counties executive director Jim Mulder as his lieutenant governor running mate.
“In Jim Mulder, Minnesota has a candidate of substance, vision and innovation,” Horner said at a State Office Building press conference. “I invited him to join the ticket because he is the best person for the job, not because of political considerations.”
Horner was the last gubernatorial candidate to announce his running mate.

If enough indepentent party voters vote in the Minnesota GOP Primary to remove GOP endorsed Teresa Collett being Steve Carlson (IP) in not having a Primary by voting for Jack Shepard who lives in Italy to remove teresa Collett the gOP hates Jack Shepard and not one Republcian would vote for Jack shepard in the Nov. 2, Genral Election so Steve Carlson will get 150,000 republcians votes plus the 30% indepent votes and together could beat Re. Betty McCollum and Steve Carlson would be a US Congressman from Minnesota. It is easy in the GOP Primaries in August 10, 2010 only about 4% of the people vote. In 2006 Jack Shepard got 34% of the vote with 5,000 votes and the GOP endorsed guy got 8,000 votes to win but in th egenerla lection almost 300,000 people voted. So for a few thousand vote in Minnesota by independent party members for Jack Shepard and then with no one to vote for Steve carlson could getr elected to US Congress

Oh don’t worry Prop 14 Supporter, the major parties will still have the advantages in money and media. I know it’s confusing for you to pick between more than than two choices, but Minnesotans are some smart folks.
Minnesota really needs something like Prop 14, badly.
