Get free media time. Get involved in your local Tea Party, then call the media and say you’re available for interviews.
I was interviewed by the local PBS affiliate regarding the upcoming Tea Party. So was the county CFL coordinator.
As April 15 approaches I expect to do more interviews with local media. First you get one interview. Then, you call the other media up and say "I was interviewed by such-and-so media outlet, and I want to let you know I’m available for interview with you as well."

There are numerous ways Libertarian Party members can get free media.
Claim that you have had “jungle sex” with Sarah Palin and offer to sell the video for the right price.
Smoke a joint in the bathroom of an airplane and then cover up the odor by burning your shoes.
Drive your car into an IRS building.
Take off your clothes and jump the White House fence.
Wearing a tuxedo, burn dollar bills in front of the IRS building to protest the plight of the wealthy.
Claim that you have irrefutable proof that Iran has nuclear weapons and is planning to bomb Israel, while insisting that you can’t reveal your sources.
Dress up in a Klan robe and demand equal rights for white people in front of the NAACP.
Give away toy guns to kids in the ghetto as their anti-gun moms scream at you. This is a proven winner for the NY LP.
