Libertarian Party embarrassment Wayne Allyn Root has long intimated that Obama never went to Columbia University, because Root never saw Obama at Columbia and does not know anyone who did.
The Reverend Manning now knows why. It seems that Obama was a CIA agent, his cover being that of a Columbia student.
Well, no wonder Root never saw Obama at Columbia!
Obama kept leaving Columbia to carry on his James Bond missions in other parts of the world. Kinda like Clark Kent always flying off as Superman. That’s why Lois Lane often didn’t see Clark at the Daily Planet, and why Root didn’t see Obama at Columbia.
It seems Root owes Obama an apology. The pro-war “King of Las Vegas” has blown the President/super spy’s cover.

This is just like the birther stuff.
I can’t wait for Orly Taitz to demand to see Obama’s diploma.

I graduated Columbia in ’79. Root and Obama in ’83. Obama was a transfer student for junior and senior year. At that time, transfers were not allocated campus housing.
Columbia has a core curriculum, which is almost always completed freshman and sophomore years. Transfers have to take it when they come in, meaning that they are taking junior and senior years what most of their colleagues took freshman and sophomore years.
For the most part, you will may know anyone who doesn’t belong to your department or lives on your dormitory floor or belongs to the same groups you do.
When I get the alumni magazine and turn to the years I was there, I say to myself “Who are these people?”
If Root and Obama had been there when I was there, I would rather have associated with Obama than Root. If I could convert him to libertarianism he would have been very good for our cause.
Root is dripping with envy when he speaks of Obama.

I mean to say that you “may not know anyone…”

So maybe the Brit, Neil Sankey can succeed where the Russian immigrant (from the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic) has failed, bring it on.
Poor little Birthers (still in denial about their losses), Judge Land and now judge Carter, smack down the crazies (case dismissed).
Not even “Fake News” Glenn Beck or Bill O’Reilly believes the crazies, how funny.
To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true (TOUGH WHEN YOU KEEP LOSING CASES), if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess they were in on it.
In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that’s who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”.
I wonder if she is a mail order bride, just like her law degree? She is perfect reporter material for “Fake News”, where unfounded rumors and innuendo reign supreme , unlike a our US courts of law. The way our courts work is that you get a competent lawyer, verifiable facts and present them to a judge, if the facts are real and not half baked lies, then, and only then, you proceed to trial. The Birthers seem to be having a problem with their so called facts that they present. Let’s face it no one will go along with you until you guys win a case, but until then, you will continue to appear dumb, crazy or racist, or maybe all three. Keep plucking that chicken.
A lawyer, dentist, realtor and black belt, WOW I must say a JACK of all trades master of none
I heard that she now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC). She wants to re-establish a family values party.
I can only hope that Taitz will resist the state collectors that will be hounding her like the “ruff ruff” that she is to collect the $20K.
We won the election and now these sore losers will continue to spew your hate with lies.

I never heard of the “Islamic language.” I don’t think that being fluent in Indonesian would help you communicate with the Afghans in Pashto or Dari Persian, their official language.
9 Guess people are forgetting // Feb 19, 2010 at 10:04 pm
Bottom line, Obama is NOT doing this country any good, or are you guys forgetting that. Big picture here.
10 Conspiracy Loons Can't Defeat Obama // Feb 20, 2010 at 12:43 am
If Obama is not doing good, let’s get a credible anti-Obama spokesperson. Not a loon like Root, who embarrasses the LP while his conspiracy theories are being repeated by Birther types across the internet.
11 Root's Big Picture // Feb 20, 2010 at 2:05 am
The only Big Picture that Root sees is: “How will saying this or that affect my career?”
12 You have foot in mouth // Feb 20, 2010 at 10:33 am
Actually you don’t know the whole correct story, Maybe you should ask Wayne yourself, before you make a judgment call and make an A of your own self.
13 LibertarianGirl // Feb 20, 2010 at 10:53 am
If all this shit talk about Wayne thats everywhere , eventually runs him off , meaning he just fucking gives up on us , whatya want to bet these same jack wipes say” see told you he wasnt in it for real” or “i told you he was a flip flopper” .
gimme a friggin break , noone would choose the LP for a career move or a marketing strategy . were broke and we lose … HELLO… MCFLY???
I guess one things for sure , he who gets attacked unduly the most must be the assumed frontrunner .
14 St Louis Delegate? Maybe // Feb 20, 2010 at 3:30 pm
Right on LG. I could not of said it better myself.
15 wolfefan // Feb 20, 2010 at 3:56 pm
Hi LG and StL delegate –
I agree with what you say about shit talk. People who have questions or doubts should express them clearly and respectfully and invite dialogue.
I posted a question about Mr. Root’s “big fat Greek” release over in that thread. Briefly, my question was whether there is any defense of his statement about the size of the Obama budget compared to the budgets of all prior presidents combined. The numbers clearly say otherwise.
I’m not questioning anyone’s motives or heart or anything like that. This looks to me like either a huge mistake or a lie; in either case it should immediately be retracted. In evaluating Mr. Root’s fitness for any role as an official or unofficial LP spokesman, what weight do you give to statements like the budget one? How many similar statements need to occur before you yourselves start to wonder whether Mr. Root is an asset or a liability as a representative of the party? Is all publicity good publicity?

“noone would choose the LP for a career move or a marketing strategy . were broke and we lose … HELLO… MCFLY???”
There’s always a megalomaniacal promoter who thinks he can accomplish what others have tried and failed to do. Sooner or later as reality sets in they move on to bigger and better things.
“Is all publicity good publicity?”
Unfortunately there are too many gullible libertarians who are inclined to move in that direction and embrace any snake-oil salesman who promises them pie-in-the-sky electoral nirvana.
And from personal experience, I’ll never forget a discussion with some libertarian activists a few years ago about the possibility of running a candidate who was a popular talk radio host and, though libertarian on some social and economic issues, was notoriously racist and even fired from one station for his racist comments. I was opposed to the idea but some of the other activists thought it was a great idea because as far as they were concerned any publicity was good publicity.
17 Thats all I am going to say on him // Feb 20, 2010 at 10:16 pm
Mr. Pastor Manning has some radical situation that all not to be taken seriously and it is way out there.
18 You people have nothing better to do // Feb 20, 2010 at 10:21 pm
Until you people get out there and make a name for yourself and put the LP party name out there in a positive light. Like Wayne. You guys just shut up and find a nice corner to sit at.
19 Root Successfully Used the LP // Feb 21, 2010 at 10:02 am
noone would choose the LP for a career move or a marketing strategy .
You ignore the fact that IT WORKED.
Root got a book deal, and many media appearances because of his LP VP nomination.
Of course Root used the LP to advance his career. The proof is that IT WORKED.
20 LibertarianGirl // Feb 21, 2010 at 10:09 am
Root wold have had a book deal anyways ya tool! he alread wrote 2 or 3 books BEFORE he ever came to the LP . Plus all that media , he earned it , he has ( and Ive heard people even make fun of him for it here) a tenacious way of calling over and over until he gets booked . Now that he did all the groundwork and footwork in the beginning media does come his way more easily , but he earned that fool , he didnt get a friggin thing handed to him because he was the LP VP candidate.
21 Robert Capozzi // Feb 21, 2010 at 10:20 am
“Used” has an interesting methodology to “prove” what Root’s intention was prior to joining the LP. It worked, therefore he used the LP.
Now THAT is some novel logic.
Bob Barr got a column in the Atlanta paper, therefore he too used the LP.
Tom Knapp, the only declared prez candidate for 2012, got a gig with the Center for a Stateless Society, therefore he’s using the LP.
Badnarik gave some classes on (his interpretation of) the Constitution…a user?
Come on! Spare us!
This sort of thinking doesn’t pass the smell test.
I’d think we’d WANT our top candidates to thrive in the public square. Do we prefer ignominious outcomes for the fine volunteers in the cause of liberty?

2010 Take Back the House
2012 Send the Socialist home
I don’t care WHERE he was born, or WHO KNEW him at Columbia. He was an underqualified socialist, plain to see if you weren’t on the dole, swooning over “hope & change” or releasing your White Guilt in ecstasy. In 4 years BHO will have turned several blue states red, and lost one or both houses of Congress. Well Done!
