Warwick, RI-The Moderate Party of Rhode Island State Committee has released the time and location for the announcement of their first group of candidates for the 2010 election. The party is open to the public and members of the press are encouraged to attend.

After only five months of official recognition as a political party, the Moderate Party of Rhode Island is proud to announce we have recruited great candidates for local city councils, the General Assembly, and several state wide offices, including the office of the Governor.

Sunday, February 21st, 2010: The Moderate Party of Rhode Island Kickoff Party, The Everyman Bistro,311 Iron Horse Way, Providence, Rhode Island, 401-751-3630.

2:00 pm: Moderate Party Kick Off Party Begins
2:30 pm: Moderate Party of Rhode Island Candidates Announced

You’ll get to meet the candidates at the Everyman Bistro, located in the American Locomotive Works Building, on Iron Horse Way in Providence. The building brought Rhode Islanders jobs starting in 1885, where they worked long hours and built steam locomotives, cars, trucks, military balloons and other products.

Those men and women worked long hours to give their children the American Dream and on February 21st, at The Everyman, the MPRI will begin the hard work to take back our state.
