The National Association of Latino Elected Officials is sponsoring distribution of a Christian-themed message urging cooperation with the 2010 census. Some religious leaders are calling it “blasphemous.” I don’t know about that, but it’s certainly an incomplete account of events:
Yes, Mary and Joseph participated in the census. As a direct result, she ended up giving birth in a barn, after which they were forced to flee their country to avoid being murdered by their own government.
And now you know … the rest of the story!

Nice finish! You need to start a campaign with that ending on some printed material.

[a] I have been in Jerusalem in December. Christ was probably NOT born in December [once the tenth Roman month]!
[b] Jesus WAS NOT, 100%, was not born in the Roman Year Zero. Was not, was not, was not!
[c] Yet another piece of evidence that Secular Public Administration and religion need to stay as far away from each other as pre teen boys and girls at a sock hop.

Do these Hispanic leaders see the irony? Mary and Joseph compiled to the census by returning to the home city of Joseph. Would compliance today be for all the non-native born Hispanics to return to Mexico to be counted?.
