"A positive alternative always begins with new Independent Green Party/Libertarian on the ballot."

I think there is a comma missing there in between Independent and Green.

Otherwise...

What in the hell is an Independent Green? Is that sort of like a jackalope?

I see clicking on your name just links to the regular Green Party, which is different from being an independent last time I checked.

Thanks for story and comments.

More folks need to get off the couch and on the ballot for local, state and federal office.

It's one thing to see the light. It is another thing to dismantle the enormous political machines and correct the unlevel playing field for anyone who dares to operate outside the purview of the two big political machines.

It seems more and more the TEA parties are being organized to recruit people to the R's. I know a winner-take-all voting system tends to gravitate toward two strong parties, but this is absurd. The two big parties are one, but try so very hard to project the image that there is significant disagreement on fundamental issues it is starting to be funny.

It's one thing to see the light. But it's an entirely different thing to organize a third party option for the angry people now attracted to the Tea Parties and set up as easy pickings for the Republicans.
The corporate Dems just don't care. Progressives can stay home if they want. Corporate Dems are happy to lose if necessary rather than betray their patrons.
