How do we have the very best public schools? The Green Party worldwide is a fierce advocate for the strongest possible schools, investing in the future, by providing strong educations. A great many Greens, and local rual Green Parties are advocates of home schooling, consistent with the key Green Party value of decentalized control of government and education. In DC where the Statehood Green Party is the 2nd largest and strongest party in the city charter schools, and public education are a constant debate. Some Green Party leaders in fact run charter schools. The current DC mayor was given a stronger voice in running schools about 3 years ago. There appears to be improvement in students performance year by year. Applause to the Green Party for taking immediate, and consistent action for better education. Now which Green Party folks are also running for office?
