Libertarian Party of Clark County, Nevada supports AB 273 to monitor and limit police use of tasers

December 9th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Via email from Debra Dedmon:

The Libertarian Party of Clark County recently voted to support Assembly Bill 273, which would require that cameras be installed on all police tasers, would require that each and every video of police taser use be made available as a public record, and would statutorily limit police use of tasers to lethal force encounters.

Assembly Bill 273 was introduced by (D) Joe Hogan in the most recent session of Nevada’s State Assembly. The Libertarian Party of Clark County encourages the reintroduction of AB 273 and will strongly support it being passed into law.

Mind you the cops already bought 1,000 cameras , they just want t0 have sole discretion on when and why they alone can access them
