Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at this site. My name is Richard Gordon, and while the usual candidates are waiting to see who is going to give them ten million dollars to launch their campaigns, I stand before you now and state that I am an independent candidate for the office of governor for the state of Pennsylvania. My only obligations are to you the people of Pennsylvania, not those that have given millions to a campaign.

He picked a good year to run. He will need less than 20,000 valid signatures to get on the ballot.

Is LPPA planning on getting on the ballot? Do you have resources to do it? Latest LNC meeting they decided against helping with funding PA.

@2 Yes, and yes. With the remarkably low signature total needed, right now the plan is to use all volunteers to get ballot access for the statewide candidates. I don’t expect to see a resolution of the federal court case in time to impact the 2010 ballot access requirements, but you never know.
Really, with a handful of congressional candidates, which we are likely to have, that will almost cover the entire signature total needed for statewide candidates (signatures can count for more than one candidate in Pennsylvania if done properly). If necessary, we do have some funds to augment that effort, and may do some more aggressive fund raising after the first of the year given the LNC decision.
We will not have nominees for statewide office until our annual convention however, which will be the end of March in Harrisburg.

We here at Third Party Revolution endorse Richard Gordon in his campaign for Governor of Pennsylvania, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nationwide, ranging from local to federal levels.

The signatures can only begin to be collected on nomination papers in mid-March, so we will only lose a couple weeks before we have nominees. It is not often that significant numbers of signatures are gathered in the early weeks of the campaign. It will be be much easier to put the nominees on the papers rather than substitute after they are filed in August.

I checked out his website. Good for a few laughs and not much else.
Hopefully there will be credible independent candidates who will provide voters with a serious alternative.

I will say I have never seen a candidate so open about his life and he does have a forum section on his site. That’s if all the questions that are asked are posted on his forum. I think he is the only independent running wait and see how he looks in a few months. I will give him this much with the videos, forum he is completely different. That’s just my 2 cent

I just read through most of his responses to questions that he was asked on his forum. Almost every answer is pointing to less government control that what he is pushing on his campaign. Unless something happens in the next few months that changes my mind about him But for now.

He is not open about his life. You (in general) have no idea what his life has been. You only know what he’s been willing to tell. Ask him on the forum if he’s ever gone to jail and see if he answers honestly. Ask him if he ever beat his wife or children and see what he says. Ask the questions that would show you what type of “man” he has been in his life and you will see that he was never a good man. Do you really want a governer with only a high school education and no business sense at all (ask him how many times he’s had a business fail on him or how many times he’s filed for bankruptcy) running the state? He is NOT the right man for the job. Ask the hard questions.
