To Zackwheat: I can’t resist sharing this tidbit from a long-ago professor of mine:

njm: As for this sad accident happening, one of the shortcomings of religion is that it does not take probability into account, nor are we taught that as we receive our religious training (which begins at such an impressionable age.) Ironic, since we are otherwise taught to otherwise be so literal about all matters religious. The role of religion is in morals and ethics…not statistics and probability, natural science, or anything else. Once one realizes this, one is no longer beset by worries such as yours about this accident.

Lurker – The corruption of Alan Keyes and his gangsters has not yet been stopped. The battle continues and in the new year we will continue to work to see that Keyes and his fellow moral criminals, inclusive of Mark Robinson and Mark Seidenberg, are flushed down the toilet.

Too bad Mr. Keyes misses the obvious point that the Christ did not–that the very nature of being in elected office and imposing burdens on others while not equally on themselves is what makes our incumbents modern Pharisees.

And like their predecessors in that time, they really don’t like being called out on it and then rally crowds with false rhetoric against the truth.

Discussing THOSE parallels, whether one is a Christian or not, makes for one interesting conversation on the political side, religious aspects included or not.

Good grief.

A year and a half later, and Mr. Grundmann still cannot set aside this apparent love affair that he has with Alan Keyes.

When I saw this, I just shook my head and said to myself, “There he goes again… poor Mr. Grundmann, barreling his way down the same ol’ rabbit trail.”

A extremely excellent article by Mr. Keyes which is tragically totally negated in the fact that his own personal corruption, as documented at TheCorruptionOfAlanKeyes.blogspot.com, overwhelms and totally erases the message which he writes. A beyond classic case of a totally corrupt messenger attempting to cover up his corruption with a outstanding message. What counts is not his excellent analysis but the fact that his own corruption destroys his message. A fitting reality when he himself is under the control of and a mouthpiece for the very elites, the enemies of both our Republic and humanity as a whole, he would claim to oppose. His actions and character were described thousands of years ago – “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly.
