Most of the other state GPs that I have encountered are good, but this one in Maryland, no.

It’s a shame as Maryland needs a good progressive third party. But I am happy that Susan is running for Governor, now I have someone to vote for.

PLAS is not going to work in Maryland, the state in which I reside, because the Greens in that state cannot organize their sock drawer.

Ross Levin, yes, I could. But the reason for doing so is to point out how the PLAS could be tried in many ballots in many states. But I already know that. & it doesn’t seem to help to point it out; politics as usual. So I won’t bother, thank you. You know, I could also watch my watch & clock on my computer tick away my life as I mumble to myself how miserable my life is with reactionaries in power. & how different things would be if they were voted out by Greens & Libs. Oh, I already do that… Nevermind.

There’s a City Councilwoman in Annapolis who has decided not to seek reelection. She’s quite the outspoken maverick. Well, a report from the local paper says she’s planning to switch to Libertarian Party.

She was quoted as saying, she’s “80% Libertarain, 20% Republican.”

Doesn’t say if she’s gonna switch now, or after she ends her term?

RELATED: A little side note hardly anybody in the Libertarian movement is aware of: Rep. Steve Dresch of the Upper Peninsula in Michigan switched to Libertarian Party in his last 6 months in office in 1992. He had been an Andre Marrou for President backer.

Is anyone keeping track of how many contested ballots are filled by a Libertarian AND a Green, a Libertarian no Green, a Green no Libertarian, neither a Libertarian or Green? I say all these candidates lose except possibly the Prince Georges County Council. UNLESS The PLAS is tried.
