Wow! The Republican pulled out of the race, and is said to be throwing her support behind the Conservative.

This is definitely interesting.

But, also...how foolish could this Republican candidate be? How could someone pull out based on polling. Even accurate polling can be wrong. And, most polling is done with background influence, slants, and agendas. What a bad decision.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/10/31/republican-scozzafava-suspends-new-york-congressional-campaign/

Quote from above: -Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava has suspended her campaign for upstate New York's 23rd Congressional seat, leaving Democratic nominee Bill Owens and Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman in the race that will conclude Tuesday, Fox News has confirmed...

Ken Spain, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said Scozzafava is releasing supporters to vote for Hoffman. -

Kimberly, are we messing up your comments? Poor adverb name. But, you could join in the All Hallow's Evening festivities. The not really a Reverend Billy can hold a press conference DESPITE the bad spirits and evil doers on Mischief Night. Pro Pot/anti Pot could do as stated-endorse Kaplan. Bunches of the Crazy Losers Club could meet in Washington, D.C. & hold a press conference predicting a political massacre on Tuesday. But dog bites man. That's not news!

Happy Haloween Robert. Do you get trick-or-treaters where you live? Will you talk to them about the Progressive Libertarian alliance strategy? Political people have often neglected Haloween as an opportunity to harangue children and their parents about political causes.

Yes, tonight is the night when the press conferences would have to happen. Maybe our strategies could work together. Chris Daggett could endorse the pro-pot anti-pot strategy on the George Washington Bridge (which unlike the Bay Bridge in my adopted sunny state of California, actually works properly) while Kaplan travels to DC and endorses the Progressive libertarian alliance strategy. Having two groundbreaking strategies endorsed for one election would completely change everything. It would leave Christie and Corzine with only 20% of the vote each, leaving the race between Kaplan and Daggett. Reverend Billy could then endorse both strategies and I would endorse Kaplan, thus embarrassing Daggett and giving Kaplan and Billy the victory. But since we're all crazy losers anyway, I doubt that anything like this will happen. We can only hope, or pray as some frequent commenters on here would say.

These press conferences, esp. by candidates with or without party approval, have got to be done this weekend. That would give activists Monday & Tuesday to educate the voters. All candidates & activists are going to have to get involved in the voter education or it is not going to work. Activists can stand outside polling places with a sign & talk with incoming voters on Tuesday. I'll be glad to if Ken Kaplan, Libertarian for NJ Governor & no Green competitor will declare.

Kimberly, again you disappoint. Not that I insist either way, but what are you doing writing about this race here? You, green oriented, IPR third party/libertarian oriented, this race reactionary dem/rep/conservative oriented. You should be writing about the Green/Libertarian press conferences in Washington & on George Washington bridge. Oh... no happening, huh? Nevermind!
