Conservative Party candidate polling two percent in New York mayoral race

The latest Quinnipiac Poll on the New York mayoral race included Conservative Party candidate Stephen Christopher along with incumbent Michael Bloomberg, an independent on the ballot as a Republican and Independence Party candidate, and Democrat William Thompson. The poll did not include other alternative candidates.

Christopher polled two percent in the survey of 1,513 likely voters, while one percent volunteered that they would vote for someone else. Nine percent were undecided. Three percent had a favorable opinion of Christopher, six percent had an unfavorable opinion, and 90 percent said they do not know enough about him to form an opinion. Quinnipiac University Polling Institute Director Maurice Carroll said, “Stephen Christopher? You didn’t know that he’s the Conservative Party candidate for mayor? Neither does anyone else.”

Privacy is a right! DHS, The Federal Reserve Bank and the New World Order has stolen it from us. We need our streets and highways WITHOUT surveillance cameras! Death to Mayor Bloomberg’s 1984! Audit the Fed, H.R. 1207, End The Fed, H.R. 833, Ron Paul for U.S. President in 2012!

I voted for Steven Christopher. Normally I vote Libertarian but this guy was so on the mark about all issues that I had to support him! I hope he runs again because I’ll gladly support his campaign. It’s saddens me in my heart how all the good guys finish last. Even worse is how few if any people bother or care to find out about good candidates running (but have the nerve to cast a vote without considering all the options available). I look to the story of Noah and the arc and that gives me hope. The world is doomed, it’s obvious. People are too stupid to care whether or not they are free or oppressed by their leaders. History repeats itself sadly.

And speaking of CT, whatever happened to him? He hasn’t been on IPR lately?

  4. Third Party Revolution September 26, 2009

I don’t remember endorsing CT at anything. And you’re proposed candidate is at least better than a neo-nazi in my opinion, so I would be ok with endorsing that person.

Steven Christopher should join the Constitution Party and stop misusing the label “conservative.” There have been no real conservatives for the past 100 years.

Yes, I think he (TPR) even endorsed Catholic Trotskyist at one point

TPR, What about a monarchist who wanted to completely abolish elections and start up a military police state dictatorship? And you can’t use the excuse that there ae none of those running right now. There will be very soon.

  7. Third Party Revolution September 26, 2009

Well there are no neo-nazis running for office right now, so I don’t have to worry about that (I am of Jewish descent, just letting you know).

  8. Third Party Revolution September 26, 2009

    2. No, there are none.

The poll would be more interesting if they included all the candidates.

Stephen Christopher is a friend of the Constitution Party and we wish him goodluck The Conservative Party leadership has done nothing for him, as they are supporting…Bloomberg…unbelievably.

Good luck Stephen! You will be with us soon.

TPR- Do you always endorse non Ds and Rs? Is there ever an independent candidate or minor party nominee that you would not endorse?

  11. Third Party Revolution September 26, 2009

We here at Third Party Revolution endorse Stephen Christopher in his campaign for Mayor of New York, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nation-wide, ranging from local to federal levels.
