Van Jones is in the news because he was appointed by the President as “Green Czar.” Van Jones has recently been critiqued based on his support of the 9/11 Truth movement. An Op Ed News story gives the 9/11Truth.org response to the criticism and lists other 9/11 Truth supporters, among them, the National Green Party.

Green Party to laid off workers: “Consider Running for Office”

In light of reports that AFSCME union workers’ jobs hang in the balance under Illinois Governor Pat Quinn’s plan to cut state spending, the Illinois Green Party offers this suggestion to those who get laid off: If and when that pink slip comes, don’t despair — consider a run for public office.
