Among Senator Ted Kennedy’s many accomplishments in the U.S. Senate was a little-heralded but critical boost he gave to the Freedom of Information legislation in 1974. At a time when the opposition to this key bill was in need of a countervailing champion, we visited Senator Kennedy, had a very substantive meeting and secured his networking support among other Senators, which led to its passage.
One can only surmise how many major changes Senator Kennedy could have secured through the Congress had the Senate been populated by the kind of progressives who served in the mid-Sixties instead of their more conservative successors, both in Congress and in the White House.
His legacy of helping the impoverished, the excluded, and the needy in our society will persist. Our sympathies are with his family in these sorrowful times.
The FBI aka: Jack Daniels aka: Johnny Walker. Teddy proves that all the good Kennedy’s died young. Ralph Nadar, sad how he hates others asking where he got his millions. I guess even ” consumer advocates ” know the ” business “of politics. Everything Ted did was window dressing for the sham of his life protected by and cleaned up after by money and power.

W, I never expected to say anything good about Nader. I still believe that he ordered spyware to be put on my computer last year. But he said something nice about Ted Kennedy, so I forgive him for the time being.
I am skeptical of the FBI’s version of anything. When I was in federal custody, my dad got an anonymous threatening phone call referencing me. So naturally he called the FBI & authorized their investigation into this call. I didn’t even find out about it until long after I got out. Then it took me some time to realize the FBI could have made that call themselves of got a C.I.-confidential informant- to do it. Then they used the authorized investigation to cover up their unauthorized previous investigation of me & him & their subsequent covert operations. The Mary Jo incident could have been provoked by the FBI. One of them follows him from the party. Rattles his cage somehow & he makes a wrong turn. Goes off the bridge & is further rattled & makes mistakes like leaving the scene. No, I don’t particularly take up for democrat rich liberal Kennedy, but he could very well have been the victim of a covert operation.

Ralph Nader’ s mandated air bags would not have saved Mary Jo Kopechne. Maybe if he had pushed for mandated air tanks instead.

That was also done by conspiratorial forces but not related to the Kennedys. They were trying to protect JFK, and then when he continued with his old ways of womanizing yet challenging the world control conspiracy, they killed him too.

Thanks Nader, I give you credit for being gracious upon the death of this great Democrat. Don, Chappaquiddock was caused by mind control drugs from the satanic world control conspiracy, which they tried to poison Ted with, but instead they temporarily destroyed his mind.
