NYS Independence Party Chair appointed to a law school board

June 7th, 2009 · 15 Comments

Frank MacKay is the Chairman of the NY Independence Party. MacKay has also been a leading figure in recent attempts to get the Independence Party to go national (though, based on the national web-site, that effort seems halted.)

Sent to an e-mail circle, and listed as a press release: here.

State Independence Party Chairman Frank MacKay Named to Touro Law Center Board of Governors

ISLANDIA, NY (06/05/2009)– Independence Party of New York is pleased to announce that State Chairman Frank MacKay was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Touro Law Center in Central Islip, NY.

Touro was recently named one of the nation’s most innovative law programs for its two on-campus courthouses and student participation in public advocacy and pro-bono legal assistance.

“I am excited about being part of the Board of Governors of Touro, and eager to do whatever I can to be helpful to the organization”, stated Chairman Frank MacKay.

MacKay joined the forty-five member Board on April 23, 2009.

MacKay was elected State Chairman of the Independence Party in the year 2000, and has since been re-elected six times.

Its nice to see a political chairman involved in educational quests. Independence Party seems like an interesting Party to join.

Frank MacKay is an idiot. I’ll make sure to tell all my friends who are going to law school to stay far away from that Turo center.

What do all those question marks mean? Is it that you do not know the answer to my question?

  • 7 Paulie // Jun 9, 2009 at 12:41 pm

It’s spam. The link is what they are pushing.

  • 8 Third Party Revolution // Jun 9, 2009 at 4:05 pm

Well why would hinepooff want to spam a website that is in a language that none of us can understand?

  • 9 Paulie // Jun 9, 2009 at 4:38 pm

Speak for yourself; I can understand it fine.

    You read question mark language?

  • 11 mdh // Jun 9, 2009 at 5:16 pm

The question marks are wordpress’ interpretation of a character set (almost certainly multi-byte) which is not supported.

  • 12 Paulie // Jun 9, 2009 at 5:17 pm

    The website is in Russian.

  • 13 Ross Levin // Jun 9, 2009 at 5:22 pm

I know, I was just joking.

  • 14 Third Party Revolution // Jun 9, 2009 at 5:42 pm

I can guess that the website has something to do with movie reviews.
