Barr did renounce DOMA. He penned an editorial about it a couple months ago I think.

Again, everyone here lets Donny Ferguson spank his pony of mendacity, stating, "CNN reports that Obama’s attempt to buy off gay activists with federal benefits, after the White House compared them to pedophiles", yet failing to offer a link to the CNN source. No mention of pedophile in his quoted excerpt of the CNN article. It was easy enough to find with a simple Google New string search: Gay critics say 'too little, too late' from Obama No mention of pedophile in the CNN article either, although it was updated on June 18th, 2009. Still with such a heated charge, Fergusen should have sought out the DOJ filing, right? Here it is, from ABC News. Nope, no pedophile mentioned in it either. Fergusen's LP blog post also states: "DOMA's original author, Congressman Bob Barr, is now working to overturn the legislation". Really, has Barr renounced his 2008 election weaseling about DOMA being a States' Right, or is this another Fergusen falsehood?
