As reported in Ballot Access News, the Utah state elections office has released a registration tally. The results by percentage are: Republican 39.30%; Democratic 8.80%; Libertarian .21%; Constitution .15%; independent and other 51.54%.

John Hospers, the Libertarian Party’s first Presidential candidate, turned 91 yesterday. He is best known for winning one electoral vote (a “faithless elector”) in the election of 1972.
