Texas Bill, Allowing Qualified Parties More Time to Certify Presidential Nominees, Advances

Texas HB 1193 has passed all the House committees in, where else, Texas. The bill relaxes the deadline for parties to certify the names of their Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates.

    UPDATE: this bill did pass the Texas House on May 12, as expected.
