Billy Talen, known as “Reverend Billy”, is running for Mayor of New York City on the Green Party line. Reverend Billy’s campaign has released a video where the candidate and some people from NY’s neighborhoods sing new words to the song, “New York, New York.”

(Also, Ross Levin posted that this was upcoming. Hope he doesn’t mind I posted it when I saw it released.)
And…I can’t figure out how to post the video so it shows up on screen. Are we able to do that?
If so, maybe one of my fellow IPR writers could just fix it for me…

Any help appreciated.
Peace,

I don’t mind at all. I saw it today but I’ve got a huge AP test coming up and a lot of homework and didn’t have time to post it.

Awesome vid. I’m not behind his message – such as it seems to be – but the vid is great.

Wait a second…Susan….how could you not be behind Reverend Billy’s message???
The message is mostly:
New York is a cool place.
New Yorkers should be proud of their neighborhoods.
Mayor Bloomberg is greedy and doesn’t care about us and should not have overturned term limits which the people passed in a referendum.
What is there to disagree with?
(Are you saying New York is not cool?)
