Judge Throws Out Rhode Island’s Third Party Ballot Law

Constitution Party of Minnesota issues statement on Hauser family chemo decision

The Constitution Party of Minnesota has issued a statement giving support to Colleen Hauser. Colleen’s 13-year-old son Daniel Hauser has Hodgkins lymphoma. When the family decided to discontinue Daniel’s chemotherapy, the courts ordered the child be turned over to the county family services. The Constitution Party of Minnesota states that Colleen Hauser “is a true hero and patriot, risking incarceration for the right to raise her family free of government interference.”

Green Party NYC Mayor Candidate Reverend Billy Talen makes the news in England

Billy Talen, also known as Reverend Billy, is running for Mayor of New York City (or “standing for” Mayor, as they say in England.) On May 21, 2009 Reverend Billy visited a Starbucks and Tesco in Norwich, England. He and his choir held a performance art-demonstration imploring people to switch from mega-corporations to local and fair trade shopping. The event was covered by an English media outlet which posted video on-line.
