At the Atlantic, columnist Andrew Sullivan notes that a crucial barometer for President Obama, as the 100 day mark is reached, is Obama’s approval rating among independents and Republicans. Two charts showing that information are published without comment.

    I believe we are very lucky to have Barack Obama as our President during these very, very difficult times. I approve of his decisions and have faith he will lead us in the right direction. The Republicans should stop behaving like thugs and start helping the President. We are all in this together.
