The winning name was “Colbert”, after the television audience of comedian Stephen Colbert won on the write-in vote. Arkansas: For the second time, the House Committee on State Agencies and Governmental Affairs voted down HB 1863, a debate inclusion bill, aimed at heightening the profile of third-party and independent political candidates. The bill was proposed by Green Party elected official Richard Carroll of North Little Rock.
