Independent Party Surpasses 45,000 in February 2009

The Independent Party of Oregon saw a surge in voter registration in February of this year, adding more than any other party in the state, including the Republicans and Democrats. LP Missouri Condemns Missouri Highway Patrol Training Document as Political Profiling

Vermont Bill to Use IRV for Special Congressional Elections

FEC considering disclosure exemption for Socialist Workers Party

In NY, more presidential votes for third party candidates found

The New York State Board of Elections has found more, previously untallied, votes for president cast in Queens, New York City, New York. The new votes increase vote totals for candidates including: Ralph Nader, Bob Barr, Cynthia McKinney, Chuck Baldwin, Roger Calero and Gloria LaRiva.
