Gotten so bad that the President of Yemen is creating a walled off area to “protect” the Jews, though some say it’s more like a Warsaw Ghetto.

So, when do Jews who live in Muslim countries get their voting rights?

In Yemen, there's a mere 200 Jews left, and they're being stoned in the streets if they venture out doors. One has been murdered. Gotten so bad that the President of Yemen is creating a walled off area to "protect" the Jews, though some say it's more like a Warsaw Ghetto.

Mike is continuing to defend a quote from Henry Ford The International Jew, the World’s Foremost Problem. In this quote, which Mike says he agrees with, Ford says

There is a religious prejudice in this country; there is, indeed, a religious persecution, there is a forcible shoving aside of the religious liberties of the majority of the people. And this prejudice and persecution and use of force, is Jewish and nothing but Jewish.

Henry Ford admired and aided Adolf Hitler and published and distributed The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Protocols_of_the_Elders_of_Zion

tract alleging a Jewish and Masonic plot to achieve world domination.

The Protocols has been proven by respected international scholars, both Jewish and non-Jewish, to be a forgery,[1][2][3] a fraud[4][5] and a hoax,[6][7] as well as a clear case of plagiarism[8]. The original source has been clearly identified as an 1864 book by Maurice Joly entitled The Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu, which was written as a satirical attack against the ambitions and methods of French Emperor Napoleon III.[9] In the book, Machiavelli represented Napoleon III, and described a series of steps that he intended to take to become ruler of the world. The Joly book was in turn based on material borrowed from a popular novel of the time by Eugène Sue entitled The Mysteries of the People, in which those plotting to rule the world were the Jesuits instead of Napoleon III. Neither the Joly book nor the Sue book mentioned either Jews or Masons.

Sources cited by Mike to defend his position treat the Protocols as genuine, claim the holocaust never happened or was greatly exaggerated, and treat the controversial theory that Ashkenazi Jews are descended from Khazars, not Biblical Jews, as a proven fact.

In defense of Mike, Michelle says

You needn’t be a bigot to point out a bigoted thought but you must be politically incorrect. And, Disinter, no matter how this post is received, I support you. There’s a war on everything these days and the last thing we need is supression of thoughts even if those very thoughts make some feel shame.

Perhaps I’m just fortunate though- I know you on a personal level and know that you’re the least bigoted person I’ve ever met. I know that you deal with prejudice against you but unfailingly follow a libertarian ideal with respect to ending the state’s monopoly on ass backward forced egalitarianism even when you’re adversely affected.

To be fair, Michelle also says

I want to add that from my limited reading about Henry Ford, I’ve concluded that he probably held many ideas with which I’d strongly disagree.

So, I am wondering whether Mike will continue to stand by the quote he posted and the sources he cited in supporting it, and whether Michelle will continue to stand by Mike if he does.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/radicalcaucus/message/106

Mike says

Yes, I agree with Henry Ford's bigoted view on Jews and their evil tactics in
favor of communism during that time period.

ALL people are bigoted in some way or another, whether they want to admit it or
not. I am strongly prejudiced (bigoted) in favor of freedom, for example.

I wonder in what way saying "they probably deserved it" is compatible with a prejudice in favor of freedom?

I'm dying to know.

Some of my relatives who died in the holocaust would be dying to know, too, but they already died by being shot into open ditches in Russia and Ukraine by German Nazi soldiers, along with the whole population of their towns. Some people died from the machine gun fire, while others were buried alive along with the corpses.

I wonder which Mike will say: that this never happened, or that "they deserved it" because other Jews they had never met were at the same time helping the British to colonize Palestine?

Israel is facing a demographic reality that will put to the test its claim to be both Jewish and democratic. The Arab population of Israel is around 40% and growing faster than the Jewish population. Only a massive new wave of Jewish immigration to Israel is likely to keep Israel from figuring out what happens when the Arab population passes 50%, and only a wave of Judeophobia in the US, Europe and other “Western” nations, and the rest of the world, is likely to spur such a wave of immigration.

Christian Zionists support this for their own reasons - they want to concentrate all the Jews in Israel to bring on their fantasy of armageddon.

I wonder why anyone claiming to be a supporter of the Palestinian cause would want to encourage these kind of trends?

Tangent:

See discussion with Mike Nelson, Michelle Shinghal and others at

http://disinter.wordpress.com/2009/01/17/henry-ford-on-jews/

Strangely enough, Mike seems to think that Zionism "probably" justified centuries of anti-Jewish discrimination including expulsions from countries, segregation in ghettos, prohibitions against owning land, mandatory distinctive clothing, mass beatings, mass murders, torture, gang rapes, group dispossession of property, and other forced or coerced conversions to Christianity and Islam, even though all this happened before Zionism was invented in the late 19th century.

Me: And what exactly do you mean by THEY in “acting like THEY do today”?

Mike: Zionist Jews.

Me again: That would be rather impossible, since Zionism did not exist back then.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism:

“Zionism” was coined as a term for Jewish nationalism by Austrian Jewish publisher Nathan Birnbaum, founder of the first nationalist Jewish students’ movement Kadimah, in his journal Selbstemanzipation (Self Emancipation) in 1890. (Birnbaum eventually turned against political Zionism and became the first secretary-general of the Haredi movement Agudat Israel.)

Certain individuals and groups have used the term “Zionism” as a pejorative to justify attacks on Jews. According to historians Walter Laqueur, Howard Sachar and Jack Fischel among others, the label “Zionist” is in some cases also used as a euphemism for Jews in general by apologists for antisemitism.

Substitute Judeophobia for antisemitism in that, as previously stipulated.

Just to be clear, the question Mike was answering when he said “they deserved it if they act like they do today” was about discrimination against Jews, as outlined above, before Zionism ever existed. Zionism was a response against this history of oppression. Oppression committed by Zionists afterwards can not logically justify something that happened before Zionism existed.

Furthermore, nothing that individual Jews may have done at any point in time could possibly justify discriminatory laws against all Jews, which was the question Mike was responding to:

ME: When you say bullshit excuse, you don’t think there was an extensive history of anti-Jewish discrimnation and attrocities throughout the diaspora? Or you think that it was deserved?

Mike's reply: If they were acting like they do today, probably so.

So, I’m wondering how or whether Mike will continue to defend this position, and whether Michelle will join Mike in saying that such a position is defensible and not based on prejudice, ignorance, or both.

For whatever it’s worth, I also oppose Zionism, because I oppose nationalism and nation-states generally.

But, if I was a Zionist, I would probably want to promote Judeophobia, since anything that would put pressure on Jews to immigrate to Israel would be in my interests.
