Question who is suing whom? Is the main source of this problem individuals suing, or businesses suing other businesses? Let’s get some clarification here.

Nor anywhere else. The only way to abolish corruption is to abolish the means to be corrupt. IOW, by taking away the money and power that democrats and republicans enjoy.

By taking away the power, Blagojevich and Paterson could still sell their US Senate seats to the highest bidder. But nobody would care.

WAR is correct when he says “Career politicians become special interest tyrants- demanding favors and federal dollars for their long list of friends and contributors- and with seniority and power gained over the years, rest assured they get whatever they want. ”

But I don’t see how term limits will have any affect.

This website is taking a stand against lawsuit abuse. you can read more about it, vote in an online poll and see a video on a pretty prominent case that’s taking center stage right now. Definitely check it out. The more people get against lawsuit abuse, hopefully people will quit trying to get money for nothing.

WAR is neither an ideologue nor a pragmatarian. He’s an opportunist.

His head is a confused jumble of conservative, Republican, and libertarian soundbites, and he rattles them off according to whatever he imagines his audience wants to here.

WAR is trying to please FOX News and right-wing radio fans, because he wants his own gig. He’s also trying to please libertarians, because he needs the LP as his personal platform until he can secure a paid gig.

So he fumbles his way around on talk shows, parroting whatever sound bites and issues he’s picked up, and imagines that his constituency wants to hear, with no in-depth understanding of the issues.

It’s why, in a recent interview, WAR told Eric Dondero that his “second highest” vote total would be impossible for the radicals to spin (thus implying that he wasn’t a radical.

Yet only days later, at the LNC meeting, WAR claimed that he was a radical, or at least moving very much in that direction.

WAR is an opportunist and a huckster, who’ll says whatever it takes to “close the deal.” (For his own benefit, not the LP’s.)

If WAR was Machiavellian about it (perhaps he is) he would favor term limits to curtail Ron Paul’s influence on the libertarian movement in favor of realizing his own political ambitions.

That would take it out of the hands of Gov. Blagojevich, and out of the hands of the Governor’s of New York, Delaware, Colorado etc.
