Opening Comments

December 30th, 2008 · 16 Comments

After many requests, comments are being opened up to anyone. Where previously you had to register and log-in to make comments on our blog posts, anyone can now comment. We at IPR think this will lead to a larger readership and more open dialogue between readers, bloggers, and editor.

If you have any tips, requests, etc for IPR be sure to tell us in the comments section.

We are also looking for bloggers from the Constitution Party, Green Party, and minor-left party perspectives. If you’re interested, email me at thill19 at lsu dot edu

Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!

Hopefully, it doesn’t bring out the trolls en masse.

  • 4 Trent Hill // Dec 30, 2008 at 5:40 pm

Thats what im hoping, because I’ll revert if I start getting terrible trolls.

I object to the discrimination against trolls evinced in the above comments. Just because we dwell under bridges and enjoy eating the occasional goat doesn’t mean we aren’t individuals who love our children. I appeal to the native humanity of all in treating us trolls decently, and giving fair hearing to our expression.

    …ugh…

I have also taken the liberty (yes liberty!) of going to TPW and inviting the few trolls and misfits who still congregate there to come over here. And I agree with Billy Goat Eater. I am not a troll, but I defend the rights of trolls because they have a valuable form of expression. Some argue that even Jesus was a troll.

    Heretics!

    As for trolls…

We already had a troll infestation before this.

  • 9 Trent Hill // Dec 30, 2008 at 6:57 pm

That was nothing. 2-3 trolls is nothing at all.

For the record, I disagree with any assertion that trolls are human, or have rights.

    Thank you!

Fred, I don’t say that trolls are human. I also don’t say that humans are trolls. You take care of humans. Us trolls can take care of ourselves.

A move in the right direction. Lots of not so warm on Bob Barr folks were booted off just before the General Election. Deny it all ya want, it did happen!

The dreamers are the saviours of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the invisible, so men through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations are nourished by the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers.

Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals; cherish the music that stirs in your hart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow all delightful conditions, all heavenly environment; of this, if you remain true to them, your world will at last be built.

    Happy New Year
