A quick glance at Root’s website still shows him as the VP candidate, but there is a sign up form that touts him being a prez candidate for 2012.

I don’t like him being referred to as a “presidential candidate.” Ignorant viewers might think he already had the nomination.

I wish Fox News would call him: “Failed presidential nominee contender Wayne Allyn Root…”

I didn’t watch that particular episode, but Root does make a point, regardless if one agrees with the *style* of how he said it. However, he could have made the point better without talking about “bloated union contracts”, which only muddies up the topic in order to gain a few quick brownie points from viewers who are likely anti-union.

Once again, I bring up Ambrose Bierce’s quotation: “An election is nothing more than an advanced auction of stolen goods.” Rod Blagojevich is an excellent example of that point and I would hope that Wayne Allyn Root adopts it and runs with it.

Bailouts? Rod Blagojevich? People are being ripped off right and left by politicians of both parties. Wayne has an excellent opportunity to expose the blatant theft and criminal nature of politics if he can stay on track without talking about things such as union contracts.

I have no idea why Cavuto has this guy on his show. Even when he is not saying something really stupid he still comes off as a huckster. I just find his demeanor very disturbing.
