H/T Liberty Maven. Ron Paul was the 1988 Libertarian Party Presidential nominee, and was also listed on the Louisiana and Montana 2008 general elections ballots as a Taxpayers/Constitution Party Presidential candidate. He has many supporters in the Libertarian and Constitution parties, speaks at their events, has endorsed their candidates (including Libertarian Michael Badnarik in 2004 and the Constitution Party’s Chuck Baldwin in 2008), and is a life member of the Libertarian Party. He is also a Republican Congressman and ran an active campaign for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2008. He is a possible candidate for President in 2012 as well.

I suspect RP would do less well in 2012 than this year, as the Republicans seem to be moving even more in the southern/rural/Christianist direction.
I think that if RP wanted to run on the Libertarian ticket, he would find a reasonable receptive audience among LP activists.

Which of these is Ron Paul not?

He doesn’t, but he probably would, since they are moving in all those same directions.

Tell me when the rally begins to get the left-wing illuminati out of office. When they raise taxes and change the constitution, it will happen.
